If you have a special interest in
dating Asian women, join the club. In my case, I have been
dating Asian women for many years, both in the United States and during my trips to Asia, and I have carefully crafted a set of tactics and principles that you should stick to if you want to learn how to date Asian women (or take your success rate to a whole new level!)
Be aware, there are some differences in how you should attempt to pick up Western women, versus Asian women. When it comes to American and European women, I will often use a "cocky & playful" approach to be a bit of a bad boy -- I'll make fun of girls and playfully assess them, to let them know I'm really not "impressed" -- no matter how sexy they might look. You see, I usually give girls the sense that they need to impress ME.
This means never answering her questions directly (rather than giving a direct answer, play it off with a joke); don't ask HER the average questions ("so what's your name," "where are you from," etc), and using CREATIVE conversation instead; and it also means teasing women and "busting on them" from time to time. Not in a severe, obnoxious way, but in a humorous style that says something very essential to her: that you're not an ordinary guy who is hoping to impress her and "win" her.|One way to do this is to never answer a girl's questions directly. Rather, you always deflect her questions with jokes (i.e. "What do I do for a living? I'm a lion tamer.")
And, you don't ask her typical questions (such as "where are you from," etc.) You With Western women, it's important for you to take command of the conversation and steer it down the right path, and this means turning the tables and playfully teasing on them. This shows that you're certainly not just like every other guy, who acts anxious and needy.
So the question is, should you try to approach
dating Asian women the same way? Well, yes and no.
Asian women are different, and a lot of this has to do with their culture and the way they were raised. Growing up, they watched a LOT of local "romantic serials" on television. (In America, we refer to these shows as "soap operas.") The plot of these shows invariably has to do with a handsome, sensitive guy who is madly in love with a girl, but there are challenges that he must overcome.
The usual storylineinvolves a desperately attempting to "win" the girl, but she keeps turning him down -- but he keeps itrying until he does something remarkable to "touch her heartIn the end, she finally relents and they share a passionate kiss and embrace, and presumably live happily ever after (blah, blah).
Asian women are deeply influenced by this stuff. They're conditioned to expect this same type of courtship in their own lives.
Of course, there are Asian women who are less traditional and will date "bad boy"-type dudes. But most high-quality Asian women, since they never want to shame themselves or their families, won't be seen in public with a foreign guy who dresses shabbily and has lots of visible tattoos.
This also means you cannot act like some wanna-be "pickup artist," using "lines" on her and immediately flirting with her in a sexual way.
Indeed, the rules of attraction and seduction do change a bit when you are dating asian women.
But it's definitely OK to pay an Asian women a compliment on how nice she looks. I don't advise guys to do this with Western women, because it makes you predictable and unoriginal. Asian women, however, because they are so wonderfully feminine and take pride in how they look at all times, will be genuinely appreciative of a sincere compliment.
(Even though she may act shy, and blush when you tell her, this just means that you've touched her emotionally.)
It's also really important for you to show masculine behavior (i.e. "be the man") when you are with
Asian girls. Asian women want to be around a masculine presence, because they are so utterly feminine. It's one of the things we all appreciate most about Asian women: they are totally feminine in nature and appearance. (Unlike Western women, who have been taught to try to "wear the pants" in a relationship, and will go out in public wearing a baseball cap and baggy clothes. You won't see Asian women dressing this way -- my Korean girlfriend used to spend an hour doing her hair and makeup just to go out and run errands! And they always look amazing...)
